We are pleased to share that HSH Associate Sam Shatz has joined the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) Board of Directors. Sam has been an active BIST volunteer, sitting on the Brain Injury Awareness Committee. She recently helped to organize the BIST Virtual Expressive Art Show, an annual event that showcases the creativity and artistic talents of people living with the effects of brain injury.
BIST is a community-based non-profit organization that aims to improve the quality of life for people in Toronto living with the effects of acquired brain injury through education, awareness, support and advocacy.
We are proud of Sam’s leadership in the brain injury community, and we congratulate all of the members of this year’s Board of Directors.
