Howie, Sacks & Henry is proud to return once again as a hole sponsor in support of the 2022 Bugsy & Ken Charity golf tournament. The annual event honours the memories of David (“Bugsy”) Newman, QC and Ken (“Bull”) Danson and raises funds to support The Law Society Foundation’s Lawyers Feed the Hungry program.
This year’s tournament takes place on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Wyndance Golf Club in Uxbridge. In addition to the hole sponsorship, HSH Partner Paul Miller will also be participating as a member of a foursome of golfers on the day of the tournament.
The Lawyers Feed the Hungry meal program is active in nine cities in Ontario, including downtown Toronto. Every week, the Law Society Foundation provides hot nutritious meals to people who are living with poverty and homelessness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Law Society Foundation has transitioned to serving takeout boxed meals, but the program’s supporters and volunteers are more committed than ever to serving the community in this time of great need. We encourage everyone to consider contributing to this worthy cause.
