HSH Partner Melissa Miller recently spoke to CBC’s The National about the increased use of antipsychotic drugs on non-psychotic seniors in Canadian long-term care facilities.

Melissa, who has long advocated for national standards for long-term care, noted that, “provinces do not get a single dollar of federal funding unless they comply with the standards in the Canada Health Act. Full stop. We do not have a similar carrot and stick mechanism for long-term care.”
