Use a unique email address to login to the app. Don't login with the google or apple options. Use a strong/complex password used only for this email address. Using plaid and et al is probably safe.
Only expose what you are willing to lose. Use long, unique, random. I think if it’s using the oauth tokens then it’s probably fine (although ynab does get access to all of your info). If you don’t see your bank’s login site then it isn’t using oauth and i wouldn’t trust it. Been linked to multiple banks and accounts for almost 5 years and never had an issue. That said, if your bank does get hacked, it's more likely a result of you not using a strong password.
